a. What do you do to keep yourself fit? What food do you avoid and why?

    I believe in saying ‘There is a will there is a way’. I strictly follow healthy habits to be physically and mentally fit. Brisk walking in the countryside every morning and playing games are my favorite things. My daily meals include all the nutrients my body requires. Additionally, 'Early to bed and early to rise’ has played a vital role for my sound health.

    Despite my busy schedule, I fully avoid junk foods. I know they are easily available and with high satisfying value. There are various issues with junk foods. They replace other nutritious foods. Fats from junk food trigger the brain to want more food and worsen our appetite and digestion. An increase in consumption of junk food is directly associated with the increase in obesity, heart diseases and blood pressure.


b.     Healthy citizens are the greatest asset of a country. What can a state do to keep her citizen healthy?

    Healthy citizens are the greatest asset of a country. It is the healthy citizens who support the nation through different ways like uplifting the state socially, economically, culturally, politically and logically.

  They are the future pillars of the nation. Not only the physically healthy, but citizens should be mentally sound so that they think positively for the upliftment of the nation.

  A state can do following things to keep her citizen healthy:
1.     The Government should open health posts,  and hospitals in different parts of the nation.
2.     The Government should launch awareness programmes so that the citizens may aware of several ways of transforming diseases to the people.
3.     The Government should run programmes regarding afforestation, bad affects of global warming and several sorts of pollutions.
4.     The Government should run health camps for senior citizens, children and people living rural areas.
5.     The Government should manage proper supervisions and make strict laws regarding health facilities  provided to the people.

a.     Yoga can be  good to stay physically and mentally healthy. Do you pracitse any yoga? Write an essay on benefits of yoga.

Ø Benefits of Yoga
          Yoga is an old art in which body is connected with mind. It is a type of exercise through which all elements of body are linked with mind with the help of meditation and relax. It is defined as the act of emptying the mind to have interaction with inner self. A balance between body and soul is possible through yoga.
          Benefits of Yoga:
1.     Yoga is known for its ability to ease stress and promote relaxation. (it can decreases stress.)
2.     It is a way to cope with feelings of anxiety. ( It relieves anxiety.)
3.     Practicing yoga may reduce inflammation as well.
4.     Yoga may help improve heart health and reduce several risk factors for heart disease.
5.      Yoga is an adjunct therapy to improve quality of life for many individuals.
6.     Yoga may have an anti-depressant effect and could help decrease symptoms of depression.
7.     Practicing yoga could help reduce many types of chronic pain (arthritis).
8.     Incorporating yoga into your routine could help promote better sleep.
9.      Practising yoga routine improve flexibility and balance.
10.  Practicing yoga could help improve breathing (Pranayama, or yogic breathing).
11. Yoga could be a useful adjunct therapy to help reduce migraine frequency.
12.  Yoga promotes  healthy eating habits that help control blood sugar, increase weight loss and treat disordered eating behaviors.

b.     How can a person be mentally healthy? Provide about ten tips to a person to stay mentally fresh and healthy.

  A person can stay  mentally  fresh and healthy by following  given ten tips:

1.     Practice Yoga regularly.

2.     Get/eat proper nutrients.

3.     Avoid bad habits.

4.     Get hydrated.

5.     Relax and sleep well.

6.     Follow professional advice.

7.     Do regular exercise.

8.     Eat breakfast daily.

11.                    Sit less and walk more.

13.                    Avoid alcohol and other drugs.

14.                    Break up the monotony.

  Subject-verb-agreement is the correspondence of a verb with its subject in person (first, second, or third) and number (singular or plural).

The human body is like a machine. All machines need fuel to give them energy. The fuel for the human body is food. Most of the energy comes from two substances in our food : carbohydrates and fats. Carbohydrates are found in food like potatoes, bread, rice wheat, corn etc and sugar. Fats come form food like meat, oil, cheese and butter. All junk food contains lots of carbohydrates and fats. If you eat a lot of junk food, you will probably get fat and it may cause a lot of diseases.
